Objectives and competences

The New Southeastern University and the UB propose a summer programme in Law that includes the study and the practice of Law in the USA and Spain. Both countries present clear differences in the extent and the depth of their political decentralization, the impact and the challenges of federal agreements in various aspects of law, and their interactions with international law. The programme focuses on how challenges and the aforementioned characteristics intertwine with the nature of the different legal systems under which each country operates: continental law and common law.
