Objectives and competences

This specialized training course for professionals or professional teams raises awareness and fosters the development of the competences required to detect the needs of people in situations of vulnerability due to health reasons (illness or convalescence) from a hospital education perspective. Topics such as the conceptual framework of hospital pedagogy, the process of illness, its forms and repercussions, the resources of educational and recreational care, the psychological processes involved in the duel and the pedagogy of finitude are addressed.

Objectives

This specialized training course for professionals or professional teams raises awareness and fosters the development of the competences required to detect the needs of people in situations of vulnerability due to health reasons (illness or convalescence) from a hospital education perspective. It wants to become a possibility of study for people who access from training cycles in the field of health.



- To acquire higher education educational training to contribute to promote fairness, wellbeing and improvement in quality of life of these people and their families.

- Volunteering in the hospital and health context.
- Fathers and mothers with relatives in a situation of illness and convalescence.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
