Objectives and competences

Professional training that will allow you to respond adequately to the needs of children, adolescents and their families, in situations of pediatric illness. When a baby is born prematurely or with a chronic illness, the family starts a journey together with the health professionals and later also the education professionals who need to be attended to in a pedagogical way. When school starts is another moment full of doubts and new needs that must be answered early. This training prepares professionals from different profiles at a professional level.

Objectives

- Receive specialized training that favors the development of the necessary skills to adequately respond to the needs of people in vulnerable situations due to health reasons (illness and convalescence) from hospital pedagogy and health psychopedagogy with an emphasis on neonatology and pediatrics.
- Receive higher education training that contributes to enhancing equality, well-being and quality of life for these people and their families.
