Objectives and competences
This postgraduate course is aimed at dentists who want to specialize in global care, in all areas, for infants, children and adolescents. We aim to train professionals so that they are capable in the clinical fields both in private practice and in public health, in education or in research, or in the combination of some of them. Within the clinical field, you learn applied psychology to know how to manage children at different ages, treatments with sedation and treatments under general anaesthesia.

Objectives and competences
Objectives
During the second academic year, students will complete a placement in the Pediatric Dentistry Unit of San Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona, under the supervision of Dr Lluís Brunet. Students also complete a rotation in the Pediatric Dentistry Service of the Barcelona Children's Hospital, under the direction of Dr Isabel Maura.

Graduates in dentistry or in medicine and surgery specializing in stomatology.Access requirements: curriculum vitae. Candidates may be asked to attend a face-to-face or online interview if the selection panel wishes to clarify any aspects of their application. In exceptional cases, a theoretical or practical test may be included.
