Objectives and competences

The latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders are presented. The main objective is the update aimed at improving professional practice in the different fields of application of clinical psychopathology. The programme has been designed with a moderate teaching load to make it compatible with professional activity and other training activities. Both face-to-face and distance learning activities are offered so that students can follow it flexibly, selecting those that best suit their time availability throughout the course.

- To acquire a specialized understanding of clinical psychopathology.
- To acquire knowledge about the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of major mental disorders as well as in basic research with clinical impact.

Recommended applicant profile

Graduates in psychology, medicine or other areas of the health sciences.

The possibility is foreseen for non-degreed students who, due to their professional or personal background, are considered to be in a position to follow the course. In this case, the degree that these students opt for is University Extension.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
