The course provides a global overview of management concepts and tools, and looks at the role and contributions of management in building excellent global health organizations and developing innovative and effective global health programs. The course combines a strategic and operational approach to management practice, with an emphasis on non-profit organizations (international agencies, governments, foundations and philanthropy, NGOs), public-private partnerships and the growing role of social enterprise
