Objectives

Formar professionals mitjançant una recerca científica innovadora, aplicada a l’entrenament esportiu, i de transferència directa amb els processos longitudinals que comporten la tecnificació esportiva i la competició del més alt nivell; així com el coneixement de les últimes tecnologies aplicades a la recerca i l’entrenament.
Especialitzar-se, amb el màxim rigor acadèmic i professional, en un dels més de 30 esports possibles, com el futbol, el bàsquet, el tennis, el triatló,... gràcies a un professorat de qualitat amb experiència professional tant en l’àmbit de la recerca com en el rendiment esportiu.

Específiques

• Conèixer i saber desenvolupar sistemes de detecció, captació, selecció i promoció del talent esportiu.
• Saber entrenar a esportistes des de les seves primeres etapes d’especialització (tecnificació) fins a la consecució de l’elit esportiva (alt nivell) amb òptimes garanties d’èxit competitiu.
• Saber utilitzar, analitzar i interpretar les dades facilitades pels mitjans tecnològics per a la valoració, control i desenvolupament del rendiment esportiu.
• Conèixer i saber desenvolupar dissenys de recerca aplicats a la millora del rendiment esportiu.
• Conèixer i interpretar el marc jurídic i les estructures polítiques i socials que gestionen el funcionament del sistema esportiu autonòmic i nacional.
• Conèixer els factors de rendiment i aplicar les noves tendències del procés d’entrenament per a l’optimització d’aquests. 
• Divulgar els principis ètics i morals que representen a l’esport i a l’esportista: tolerància, solidaritat, companyonia, esperit de superació…
• Ser sensibles respecte al necessari equilibri entre el que suposa entrenar per assolir les màximes fites esportives i la salut física i psicològica dels esportistes.

El màster RETAN va adreçat especialment a alumnes amb el grau o la llicenciatura en Ciències de l’Activitat Física i l’Esport que estiguin vinculats a la pràctica o procés d’entrenament en algun esport, ja sigui col·lectiu, d’adversari o individual.

Access requirements and conditions

General requirements
Students wishing to be admitted to a university master's degree must hold one of the following qualifications:

• Official Spanish university degree.


• A degree issued by a higher education institution within the European Higher Education Area framework that authorizes the holder to access university master's degree courses in the country of issue.


• A qualification issued by an institution outside the framework of the European Higher Education Area. In this case, applicants must request homologation of the degree to its equivalent official Spanish university qualification or obtain express approval from the University of Barcelona, which will conduct a study of equivalence to ensure that the degree is of a comparable level to an official Spanish university qualification and that it grants access to university master's degree study in the country of issue. Admission shall not, in any case, imply that prior qualifications have been recognized as equivalent to a Spanish master's degree and does not confer recognition for any purposes other than that of admission to the master's degree course.

Pre-enrolment

Calendar

The pre-enrolment period opens as of January and closes, at the latest, in September. Each centre and each master's degree can establish their specific periods within this general period.

Notes:

• Pre-enrolment fee: A pre-enrolment fee of 30,21 euros is charged. Students who apply to more than one master's degree must pay the fee for each pre-enrolment request. Pre-enrolment requests cannot be processed until this fee has been paid.Fees will only be refunded if the master's degree in question is suspended.
• Reserved places: A maximum of 5% of the new places of the master's degree are reserved for students who meet the general and specific access requirements and accredit the recognition of a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%.

Required documentation

• Títol universitari original o fotocòpia compulsada.
• Fotocòpia de la targeta sanitària (CatSalut o similar o assegurança privada).
• Dades bancàries (inclòs el codi IBAN).
• Una fotografia de mida carnet.

Les persones admeses que tinguin una titulació universitària estrangera, hauran de sol·licitar l’estudi d’equivalència del títol, que comporta una taxa de 218,15 €, d’acord amb el decret 118/2015, de 23 de juny. En cas que aquest estudi resolgui que la titulació no és equivalent a la necessària per a l’accés al programa, l’admissió quedarà anul·lada, sense que això suposi la devolució de l’import esmentat.

Selection criteria

El màster RETAN va adreçat especialment a alumnes amb el grau o la llicenciatura en Ciències de l’Activitat Física i l’Esport que estiguin vinculats a la pràctica o procés d’entrenament en algun esport, ja sigui col·lectiu, d’adversari o individual.
En cas que les preinscripcions superin les 35 places oferides, la comissió del màster analitzarà, valorarà i seleccionarà els expedients acadèmics i la trajectòria professional dels aspirants. Consulta'n els criteris i la ponderació.

Notification

Un cop resoltes les admissions, l'INEFC notificarà el resultat a totes les persones aspirants i informarà les persones admeses del procediment de matrícula.

Placements

Placements in a company or another type of organization are an integral part of university studies, providing first-hand experience of working methodologies in students' chosen professional fields. They offer invaluable practical experience for the transition into work after graduation.

Placements are supervised by tutors and subject to assessment. They are therefore included in the academic record.  There is also an option to complete non-curricular placements of up to 500 hours, which can be extended to 900 hours. For both curricular and non-curricular placements, an educational cooperation agreement is signed between the UB and the company, institution or other organization at which the placement will be carried out.
