Academic progress regulations

The maximum duration of doctoral studies is four years, full-time, or seven years, part-time. If a doctoral student has a recognized degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%, the maximum duration is six years, full-time, or nine years, part-time. The duration is counted from the date on which the first enrolment is completed until the date on which the thesis deposit is requested.

If the maximum period elapses before you have requested the deposit of the doctoral thesis, you can submit a request to the Academic Committee for a one-year extension.

You can request one change between full-time and part-time study. This must be submitted to the Academic Committee before the end of the maximum duration of your doctoral studies, provided that no extension has been authorized. Except for justified reasons, this request must be submitted and resolved before the academic year begins.
