Procedure and necessary documentation

The application for admission and access to a UB doctoral programme is made through an online application that you can find on the Electronic Office or on the website of the doctoral programme in which you are interested, as long as the admission period is open.
The necessary documentation is as follows:
  • Depending on the access route you have selected, you must attach the original supporting documentation to the application for admission and access. We recommend that you give interoperability permission because your degree information will be automatically attached to the application and you won't need to attach them.  Interoperability does not apply if:
  • You access through access routes 4, if you do not yet have the title of specialist in Health Sciences, and route 5.
  • You have foreign qualifications homologated to the Spanish education system (homologation/equivalence credential from the Ministry of Universities).
In these cases, it is necessary that you attach the corresponding supporting documentation.
  • DNI, TIE (identification card for foreigners from outside the European Union), Identity document issued by the competent authority of the country of origin (in the case of nationals of European Union countries) or passport.
  • Other academic documentation: check the website of the doctoral programme to which you want to be admitted to find out what documents are necessary for admission to the doctoral programme.
