Public Economy, Political Economy and Spanish Economy
The Section of Public Economics, Political Economy and Spanish Economy teaches a range of subjects that can be grouped into three broad areas: public economics, which covers the largest number of subjects, Spanish economy and culture economics. Teaching is offered at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. Research is conducted primarily through the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB), which also coordinates the Chair on Energy Sustainability Chair and the UB-City of Barcelona Chair in Urban Economics. The Section is also home to other research groups, covering areas such as education economics and culture economics.
