Antonio Llardén Carratala
Antonio Llardén is an Industrial Engineer and studied at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona. He has been the Chairman of Enagás since 2007.
He also holds the office of Chairman of the Foundation for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (Funseam), comprising the main companies operating in the energy market in Spain.
He is a Trustee of the Elcano Royal Institute of International and Strategic Studies (chaired by His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain), of the Princess of Girona Foundation (whose Honorary President is H.R.H. The Princess of Asturias and Girona). He is also a member of the Spanish Business Council for Sustainable Development and the CEOE Business Action Council.
Throughout his career he has held various senior positions in the infrastructure and energy sectors at institutions and companies such as Gas Natural (currently Naturgy). He has been Chairman of the gas employer Sedigas, and a member of the Board of Directors of Eurogas and of the Executive Committee of the International Gas Union (IGU), as well as being a member of the Executive Committee and the Spanish Energy Club Management Board. He has also chaired the LNG World Congress.
He has been Dean of the College of Engineers; member of the Social Council of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and Chairman of its Economic Commission.
Throughout his career he has been a member of the Boards of Directors of institutions and companies such as Telefónica, the Instituto Nacional de Industria, the Instituto de Crédito Oficial and the Empresa Nacional de Residuos Radiactivos.
He is a Knight of the National Order of the Legion of Honour of France, the highest award granted by France for eminent merits in service to the country, and has been awarded the Tiepolo Prize, jointly awarded by the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Spain (CCIS) and the CEOE for his work in the integration and development of economic and commercial relations between Italy and Spain. In 2025, he received an Honorary Mention for his professional career awarded by the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros Industriales de Madrid (COIIM).

The Board of Trustees is made up of fifteen members:

Nine representatives of Catalan society, chosen as follows: three appointed by the Government of Catalonia, including the chairperson; two appointed by the Catalan Parliament; one chosen by the Barcelona City Council; one chosen by the most representative trade union organizations in Catalonia; one chosen by business associations; and one graduate of the University of Barcelona chosen by the Board of Trustees.

Six members of the University. The rector, the secretary general and the manager of the University are permanent members. The other three members are elected by the Governing Council and include: one representative of the student body, one representative of the teaching and research staff, and one representative of management, administration and services staff.

Ms Ventura is a University of Barcelona graduate in pharmacy with a specialization in dietetics and nutrition. She holds an MBA from ESADE and has received board of director training from IESE. Her professional career has involved work in different food companies and at Laboratoris Ordesa, in the areas of scientific and new products, R&D, marketing and sales. For over 20 years, she has been a trustee of various third-sector foundations that work with dependent people, the Fatima Foundation (children in care and the elderly), the Fundació Hospitalitat Mare de Déu de Lourdes (people with disabilities and the caregivers for the ill) and the Ordesa Foundation, which awards aid to projects to help vulnerable children and those without resources, of which she is chairwoman.She currently sits on the board of directors of Laboratoris Ordesa as well as other companies in the real estate sector. She is also a member of the board of the Catalan Association of Food Sciences.

Mr Mora is the founder of Kriter Software, where he has worked as CEO since its inception in 1989. He has served as a Mataró city councilman (2007–2011) and the mayor of Mataró (2011–2015), and is a founding member of GENTIC, the ICT Association Mataró and Maresme (gentic.org). He is the chairman of the Spanish chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization (eonetwork.org), a board member of ASEITEC (aseitec.org), a founding member of the Spanish chapter of Conscious Capitalism (consciouscapitalism.org), and deputy chairman of the Barcelona Maresme Business Club (barcelonamaresme.com).

Dr Jorquera holds a Doctorate in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Valencia and is a graduate of the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has been the vice-president of scientific development and R&D of Grifols Bioscience Industrial Group, where he led a group of more than two hundred researchers in Barcelona, Los Angeles and the Research Triangle Park in North Carolina in drug development and patent protection. He has also been a researcher in the Experimental Immunology Unit of the Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe in Valencia and a member of the Congenital Coagulation Disorders Unit. He has worked at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California, and has received awards for his research from the Spanish associations of Clinical Biopathology, Hematology and Hemotherapy, Hemophilia and Pneumology and from the Department of Health of the Valencian Community.

A graduate in Pharmacy from the University of Barcelona and with an MBA from ESADE, he spent 13 years in senior marketing roles at companies such as Novartis and Nestlé. In 2021, he co-founded PINN, a consultancy specializing in strategy, innovation management, and organizational change, where he has led projects for organizations including Santander, Bayer, Revlon, Lidl, Alcon, and Clarel, among others. He previously founded ONSIDE, an initiative focused on transforming grassroots football management with an innovative approach. He teaches strategy, innovation, and organizational change management at various business schools and was the director of the Master's in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at EAE for four years.

Dr Berbel earned a Doctorate in Social Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Group Analysis and Management from the University of Barcelona. She is currently the chairwoman of the BCN Professional Training Foundation. She has been the municipal manager (CEO) of the Barcelona City Council, the general manager of Barcelona Activa SA, manager of economic policy and local development of the Barcelona City Council, general director of equal opportunities in the Government of Catalonia's Ministry of Labour and the chairwoman of the Catalan Women's Institute. In 2015 she founded the Empowerment Hub, a project for personal, professional and social empowerment. She has published several books and writes articles for several different media channels.

Ms Cammany is a graduate in business sciences from ESADE-URL and an agricultural engineer. She is the assistant general manager of EPI INDUSTRIES and, since 1989, she has held various management positions in the Grup d'Empreses Familiars. She is the deputy chairwoman of the SME association, Petita i Mitjana Empresa de Catalunya (PIMEC), a trustee of the Fundació PIMEC and a trustee of the Fundació Internacional Olof Palme. She was an associate professor from 1987 to 2008 at ESADE and at the University of Barcelona from 2013 to 2016. She is also a trustee of the Rinaldi Foundation of the EUSS School of Engineering. From 2011 to 2021, she served as a board member and treasurer of the Club Balonmano Granollers, promoting the Agenda 2030 and participating in projects such as Erasmus Plus Handball for Dual Careers.

Mr Fernández is a graduate in economics from the University of Barcelona. He studied chartered account auditing and earned an MBA from ESADE. Until 2001, he worked in various organizations in the financial sector where he held different levels of responsibility: an administrator at Caixa Sagrada Família (1976–1979), administrator and head of securities at Caixa de Barcelona (1979–1985) and administrative director and manager at GVC SVB (1985–2001). Since 2001, he has been manager of the Paco Puerto Foundation – CEPROM (2001–2007) and of the Shared Services Unit (USC) of the Workers Commissions of Catalonia (2007–2014).

A graduate in law with a specialization in labour law from the University of Barcelona, Mr de Pablo is a practising lawyer and the secretary of institutional policy of the trade union UGT Catalunya. He has been a mediator and conciliator for the Labour Court of Catalonia since 1998. He worked in Aigües de Barcelona, where he was a union representative for UGT, and was the general national coordinator of the AGBAR group. He was also a member and the chairman of the Pension Plan Control Commission of Aigües de Barcelona.
