I- CHANGE
We aim to raise awareness of climate change and natural hazards and promote behavioural changes to mitigate and better adapt to their impact.
We have collected data and images that make it possible to identify areas affected by extreme episodes and that may be useful for validating scientific models. We have also identified the needs and concerns of communities to help involve them in the processes of adaptation and self-protection in relation to climate change. The project provides the tools needed to propose solutions to improve collective resilience. Cooperation with civil society has been achieved by means of a network of collaborators through the Barcelona Living Lab on Extreme Events.

Strengths
Fostering collaboration with civil society by means of a network of collaborators through the Barcelona Living Lab on Extreme Events and the organization of specific activities and annual get-togethers.
- Improving individual and collective resilience through a change in perceptions and behaviours.
- Stimulating research through the use of the data collected and exchanging knowledge during the activities.
We have developed the platform and the mobile app FLOODUP to collect data. In addition, the project includes other sensors and tools to record other meteorological data and air quality.
