Concerning subjects, UB stands out in Chemistry (it is listed among the 150 best universities) and Physics (it is listed among the 200 best universities).
The global ranking is once again topped by American universities. Harvard University, Stanford University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of California Berkeley occupy top positions. The top European one is the University of Cambridge, listed as 5th.
The Academic Ranking of World Universities establishes classifications in the following fields: Natural Sciences and Mathematics; Engineering/Technology and Computer Sciences; Life and Agriculture Sciences; Clinical Medicine and Pharmacy, and Social Sciences. Moreover, ARWU publishes rankings in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, and Economics and Business.
