The working group of the Interuniversity Council of Catalonia proposes solutions to possible online assessments for academic year 2019–2020
On Thursday 16 April, a meeting was held in the framework of the Interuniversity Council of Catalonia (CIC) with representatives from the Government of Catalonia (from the Secretary of Universities and Research, attached to the Ministry of Business and Knowledge), the twelve Catalan universities and the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU). At the meeting, a document was approved that has been prepared by a working group comprised of members of the CIC committees Access and Student Affairs (CAAE) and Academic Programming and Planning (CPOA). The document defines the academic criteria that should govern the end of the university year in a situation of emergency online teaching.

As stated by the General Director of Universities, Victòria Girona, the working group has prepared “a document with practical examples designed to facilitate the task of university teaching staff and to serve as the basis for the guidelines established in each of the universities, by virtue of their autonomy.”
