The UB collaborates in the discovery of a new plant extract based product against cognitive impairment
A research group led by Mercè Pallàs, lecturer of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences and member of the Institute of Neurosciences of the UB (UBNeuro), has collaborated with the biotechnology company Biosearch Life in the development of a new compound involving plant extracts and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) to be used in the prevention and reduction of ageing-related cognitive impairment associated.
