The University of Barcelona, the Barcelona Provincial Council and the Ministry of Research and Universities of the Government of Catalonia will present the renovation project for the Theatre building at Mundet Campus on Monday, 23 March. This space will be home to the Barcelona Centre for Applied Neurosciences (BCAN). The event is open to the public and will begin at 4.00 p.m. at the Theatre building.

The University of Barcelona, the Barcelona Provincial Council and the Ministry of Research and Universities of the Government of Catalonia will present the renovation project for the Theatre building at Mundet Campus on Monday, 23 March. This space will be home to the Barcelona Centre for Applied Neurosciences (BCAN). The event is open to the public and will begin at 4.00 p.m. at the Theatre building. 

Led by the UB and supported by the Provincial Council and the Government of Catalonia, the BCAN is a major strategic initiative that will position Catalonia as an international leader in neuroscience applied to healthcare. It will be located in the Theatre building at Mundet Campus, a building owned by the Barcelona Provincial Council and made available to the University, which will also house departments from the faculties of Psychology and Education. 

The event will be attended by the rector of the UB, Joan Guàrdia; the president of the Barcelona Provincial Council, Lluïsa Moret; and the Catalan minister for Research and Universities, Núria Montserrat. During the session, Barceló Balanzó Arquitectes and Scob Arquitectura i Paisatge will present the main features of the renovation project for this space.
