Rector Joan Guàrdia, invited by Europe’s most prestigious applied research organisation

The Rector of the University of Barcelona, Joan Guàrdia, attended, on Wednesday, in Munich, the annual conference of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, one of the most important applied research organisations in the world. He was able to learn first-hand about the activity of this leading centre in research innovation, the use of new technologies and the transfer of scientific knowledge, and its commitment to global welfare.
