This academic year, the University of Barcelona is commemorating its 575th anniversary with an intense programme of activities. The UB aims to involve the university community and the general public as much as possible, so it has created a form for anyone who wishes to contribute to the celebration of this special date can make proposals for events, cultural projects, academic activities or symbolic and participatory actions. These can be submitted until 10 October.

The 575th anniversary organizing committee will evaluate the proposals, considering aspects such as budget, timetable, suitability and resources required. The selected proposals will be announced through institutional channels.
The commemoration will run throughout the academic year 2025-2026 and will include academic events, exhibitions, publications, heritage days and cultural projects. The aim is to highlight the UB’s historical trajectory and its present and future role as a public university committed to society.
