UB Editions publishes the first manual of political philosophy in Catalan
What characterises good government and how can it be achieved, what principles should guide coexistence, and what political systems can be considered just or legitimate? From liberalism to communitarianism or republicanism, from feminism to critical theory, this book illuminates the paths forged by the great names of contemporary political philosophy, analyses their main currents of thought and explores controversial issues that affect us today, such as religious, cultural and linguistic diversity, animal rights or the morality of borders. In short, it shows how these theoretical notions underpin political decisions that have a real impact on everyday life.
