Zarco's research describes the types of parental abuse (mainly by adolescents), the factors that trigger it and the cycle of this violence. It also analyses the knowledge that adolescents themselves have of this problem and studies the consequences that are generated when violent behaviour comes to be judged at a criminal level. It also provides an awareness-raising video to make the phenomenon visible and promote social awareness. Both the awardee and her school each received a prize of 500 euros.
