The answer to an educational need
The School of Modern Languages (EIM) offers UB students the opportunity to improve their knowledge of a third language during their stay at the University. This training offer responds to a need detected in the third language level tests given to incoming students for the academic year 2023-2024. According to the data collected in these tests, the predominant level — especially in the case of English, with 91.5% of those enrolled— is B1, although the recommended level is B2, and the best option is to have it certified.
The EIM offers accreditation courses following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The certificates issued are valid in most Catalan institutions.
In addition to English, courses are also available in French, German, Italian, Japanese and Chinese. All courses are available on the EIM website.
