Montserrat Celdrán, professor in the Department of Cognition, Development and Educational Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, is the new dean of the Faculty following the elections held on 19 September.
The team at the Dean’s Office in this new phase is formed by Josep Marco as Vice-Dean for Research and Innovation; Montserrat Yepes, as Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs and Students; Guillermo Recio, as Vice-Dean for Organization and External Relations, and Marta Ramon, as Academic Secretary.
The main objectives of the Dean’s Office include the continuous improvement of teaching and research quality and the attention to spaces and interpersonal relations, to strengthen the well-being of students and faculty staff.
Montserrat Celdrán is a psychogerontologist and expert in the psychology of ageing. She is a member of the Gerontology Research Group (GIG) and the Educational Innovation Group in Developmental Psychology (GIDPsiDe). Her lines of research include developmental psychology, the psychology of old age and person-centred and residential care for the elderly.
