This Thursday, 28 November, is the date for the official Christmas lights switch-on at the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona. The activity, which includes a carolling concert, will start at 5.50 p.m.

This Thursday, 28 November, is the date for the official Christmas lights switch-on at the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona. The activity, which includes a carolling concert, will start at 5.50 p.m.
This year, the lights will adorn the façade of the building in a special way. The courtyards and the vestibule will also be decorated: there will be ten Christmas trees on display, in addition to the large one on the Stairway of Honour. The garden will also be decorated with figures.
The Christmas lights can be seen every day until 6 January, from 6.00 p.m. to midnight. LED lights have been used, and on days when the building is closed, only those visible from the outside will remain on, in line with the responsible commitment to minimize energy consumption.
