The 2018 edition received 192 projects, which were assessed by 149 international scientific experts on this issue regarding its quality, methodology and relevance.

The management of the evaluation was carried out by the Agency for Health and Assessment of Catalonia (AQuAS), from the Department of Health. Like in previous editions, the UB research is present once more in the awarded projects in this call.
