Several secondary schools compete in the UB High School Debate League
The team from Institut La Mallola in Esplugues de Llobregat won the UB High School Debate League. The runner-up was Institut Vila de Gràcia.

Twenty-four teams from various high schools took part in the tournament, each of which faced three debates. In total, the competition consisted of 39 dialectical confrontations.
The winning team will represent the University of Barcelona in the Vives Network High School Debate League, which will take place from 20 to 22 April 2026 at the University of Alicante with the debate topic “Are we facing a more sexist youth?”.
This competition aims to improve the communication skills of participating students, promote the acquisition of cross-curricular skills through the use of speech, and create a training space in which Catalan is used as the language of instruction.
