The 2025 programme maintains the essence of Els Vespres and is once again a showcase for the unique projects on the Catalan music scene. The artists performing this summer are Selva Nua, River Omelet, gavina.mp3 and Dan Peralbo:
SELVA NUA – 8 July
A band from Lleida with a sound characterized by soft guitars, distinctive bass lines and precise drums. They debuted in 2022 with Momentani and present a new album in 2025. They step into this new phase with singles like Por defecto and Serà breu. Their proposal brings fresh air to the Catalan music scene. Baleriia will perform as the opening act.
RIVER OMELET – 10 July
A folk trio from Gràcia with Anglo-Saxon influences, three-part harmonies and an indie-pop touch. Their lyrics combine everyday life and fantasy. In 2023, they released the EP The bad things we did right, with an energetic sound blending elements of folk, swing and rock. In 2025, they will present a new album with songs in Catalan and outstanding collaborations from the Catalan scene. Nina Barceló will perform as the opening act.
GAVINA. MP3 – 15 July
gavina.mp3 debuted in 2024 with Many Bones, Many Stars, a post-pop album that explores death and fragility with sensitivity and risk. The album, produced by leading names on the Catalan scene, combines electronic and organic sounds with poetic lyrics. In their live performances, the project stands out for its emotional intensity and careful staging. This year, they continue touring and incorporating new songs, consolidating them as a unique and constantly evolving project. Las Amigas de lo Ajeno will perform as the opening act.
DAN PERALBO – 17 July
Dan Peralbo performs in an intimate format, with guitar and voice, stripping his songs of productions to show them as they were born. In these concerts, he shares anecdotes and premieres songs that will form part of his future albums. The connection with the audience is deep and genuine. His latest album with El Comboi has been recognized as the best album of the year in the rock category by Enderrock magazine. La Laie will perform as the opening act.
Emerging UB talent and gastronomic experience
As is now a tradition, the concerts of Els Vespres will be preceded by a performance by the winners of the Sona UB, the demo competition organized for the second time by the UB to discover the musical talent of teaching staff, students and technical, management and administration and services staff. More than 350 people from the UB community took part in the popular vote to select the artists who will perform as opening acts: Baleriia, La Laie, Las Amigas de lo Ajeno and Nina Barceló.
The public will also be able to enjoy the gastronomic offer of the Bernat Pescaire bar, located in the same garden. The artistic direction of Els Vespres is provided by TRESC, which also collaborates in the production of the cycle, and the concerts are sponsored by Moritz.
