Discovering the world of naturalistic and scientific illustration and learning its bases and main techniques through guided practice are the aims of the new course promoted by the Animal Biodiversity Resource Centre of the UB (CRBA). The new edition, which focuses on the world of mammals, botany, mycology and entomology, is aimed at anyone with an interest in scientific illustration, a discipline that brings scientific knowledge closer to society and helps to understand research and the world of nature.
The course includes theoretical and practical content and outings for students to put into practice and apply all the techniques studied. It will be taught by Blanca Martí de Ahumada, professional illustrator and coordinator of the master's degree in Scientific Illustration of Natural Sciences at the University of Girona Foundation.
The deadline for enrolment is 8 October.
