Applications can be submitted from 15 October to 12 November to study at one of the more than a thousand universities around the world with which the University of Barcelona has international mobility agreements.

The information and support campaign for students who wish to study abroad has already begun. The application period is the same for the different international mobility programmes: Erasmus+ (Study, Internships or ICM), Global UB Mobility and Global UB Faculty. A campaign has also been launched to provide the details on these mobility programmes, as well as the financial aid that can be applied for.

The UB School of Modern Languages (EIM) offers official exams and accreditations to certify language level. The application form specifies the type of certificate and the level required by each host university.

International Mobility Fair, October 16

Students can find out first-hand about all these options for studying abroad at the International Mobility Fair, which will take place on 16 October, from 10.15 a.m. to 3.00 p.m., at the Penyafort-Montserrat Hall of Residence. This year’s fair will include a practical workshop on how to apply for an international mobility placement. There will also be information on the various mobility support services offered by the UB: from the Office of Mobility and International Programmes (OMPI) to the Language Services and the School of Modern Languages. There will also be information sessions and discussions with students who have recently completed a mobility programme.

In addition, some faculties and centers will have stands at the fair where staff from the international relations offices will provide personalized guidance on the mobility options available for each course. There will also be a stand on the SICUE national mobility programme and the Institut Confuci de Barcelona, the Barcelona City Council and the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) association will be present, offering complementary information on mobility opportunities, resources and experiences.

In the following video, students from the University of Barcelona share their international mobility experience.
