On Wednesday 18 December, a session of the Senate of the University of Barcelona will take place. The meeting can be followed live online.
The meeting will begin at 8.30 a.m. on first call or at 9.00 a.m. on second call. Among the items on the agenda are the rector’s report on the 2022-2024 Governance Plan and the presentation of the Governance Plan for the next period 2025-2029.
The University Senate is the highest representative body of the university community. It is responsible for drawing up, modifying and, if necessary, deploying the Statute; controlling the management of the University’s offices and governing bodies; approving the general lines of action of the University; and, in extraordinary circumstances, calling elections for rector.
