On Monday 6 October, an extraordinary session of the Senate of the University of Barcelona will take place, which will be broadcasted live online.

On Monday 6 October, an extraordinary session of the Senate of the University of Barcelona will take place, which will be broadcasted live online.
The session will begin at 12.00 noon, on first call, or at 12.30 p.m., on second call. Among the items on the agenda are the presentation of the proposal of the new Statute of the UB and information on the procedure for the presentation of amendments.
The University Senate is the highest representative body of the university community. It is responsible for drawing up, modifying and, if appropriate, revising the Statute; monitoring the management of the university’s offices and governing bodies; approving the university’s general lines of action; and, in extraordinary circumstances, calling elections for the position of rector.
