A higher level of education does not reduce cognitive decline in ageing

A study published in the journal Nature Medicine changes the notion of the role of education as a cognitive reserve factor in the ageing process. Accumulating years of schooling does not help to slow cognitive decline, as previously thought, although it is associated with better memory.
