Less, but more: a new evolutionary scenario marked by massive gene loss and expansion

Using the “less, but more” model, a study by the University of Barcelona identifies how massive gene losses followed by extensive gene duplications can generate evolutionary adaptations in species.
From December 24 to January 5, the service will remain closed due to the institutional closure of the University of Barcelona for the Christmas holidays.
During working days within this period, support will only be provided via email.
SAE telephone and face-to-face support during academic course:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 5 pm.
The timetable may change at Christmas, Easter week and during the summer.
